My Christmas was the best Christmas ever! (Well..I have only had one..but it was great!) I got clothes for me to look pretty in, books for my Mommy & Daddy to read to me so I am the smartest girl ever, money to spend on all my little heart's desires, and toys to fill my days with fun!
(That's me on my Baby Enstein mat)
(Me in my pretty Christmas dress)
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day cannot come soon enough! I am so excited to unwrap all of my goodies! (Well..maybe Mommy & Daddy will have to help me alittle..) I have been a very good girl and have endured alot in my 2 months and know Santa will bring me all of my little heart's desires.
I have learned many things while being on the outside- I have learned what my Mommy and Daddy's face looks like. I have learned what those strange barking noises I always heard are coming from- they are furry and named Duke and Luckie. I have also learned I like to be swaddled like a little burrito- nice and snug as a bug in a rug. The greatest thing I have learned is there were many people who were praying for me. I know they continue to do so and I am an example of the miracle of prayer. Everyone says I am beautiful too!

I bet you wonder where I came from, huh? Well, my Mommy and Daddy are Desiree' and Jonathan. They are super excited about my upcoming arrival!!
My grandparents are Grandmother and Poppa (my Mommy's parents) and Mimi and Big Dad (my Daddy's parents). I have an Aunt Denee', Uncle Chris & Aunt Amber, Aunt Lindsay & Uncle Nick who also await my arrival. My Aunt Denee' has spent too much money on me!
I bet you wonder where I got my beautiful name too, huh!?! Well I am named after my Mommy's Grandmother -- Nola. She passed away while I was still in my Mommy's tummy so I never got to see her smiling face. But my Mommy and I know she is looking down from heaven smiling and watching over us. Mommy and Daddy just liked the name Gracyn. It did take them a long time to decide how to spell it though.
One thing Mommy knows for sure is I am going to be a fighter like my Great Grandmother Nola.
Well, I have been busy people! Ok, so Mommy has been busy. I have been doing the usual... sleep, roll around, sleep, etc. I have noticed that I do not have as much room as I used to to tumble around. I think I have gained alittle weight! Oh, well... I think I am supposed to do that! I don't have much longer until I get to see all of your smiling faces! I am excited to wear all the great stuff in my closet- I am a girl after all and I love clothes!
Well, Mommy, Daddy, and I had an exciting day! We had pictures made: See Below
*Compliments of Mimi*
All right I guess I am more popular than I thought!! Mommy said I am getting requests for postings. These past few weeks have been busy. Mommy and me had to go for a MRI and it was not fun for either of us. Mommy's hands and feet went numb and her back hurt. And me - you ask?- well, let me tell you I did not enjoy those strange noises for one minute. Mommy thought I was dancing since she felt me moving so much. I just did not appreciate them waking me from my nice slumber! I was resting nicely on my placenta pillow and then bang, bang, beep, beep!! How would you like it??!!
The MRI did not show anything- thank goodness. As Daddy said after we got the results- Today is a good day. Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to many more good days with their little Nola Gracyn- (that's me!!)
I hear that I am going to have big feet. Mommy and Daddy were told not to get me any newborn shoes or socks! Mommy says it is Daddy's fault because he has flippers for feet. I suppose I am taking after Daddy on that trait - Mommy has little feet. Oh well - you will be able to hear me coming!
My Mommy started this journal so that everyone could keep up with the happenings of me! Right now, I am nestled comfortably in my Mommy's tummy. For fun -- I kick, jab, and punch just to see what happens. I am growing bigger everyday and cannot wait until I see what those strange barking noises I hear all the time are! My favorite pastimes are sleeping, sucking on my hands, kicking my feet above my head and doing flips (my Mommy swears I do).
Please stay tuned for more about the happenings of me- Nola Gracyn.
