We went for our 17 week ultrasound on Thursday. The ultrasound was to find out the sex of the baby and for an anatomy scan. We were not going to find out what we were having until later that night because we had planned a Gender Reveal party for friends and family. The ultrasound tech (who was fabulous!) went over every thing as she went since we were a nervous wreck because this is when we found Nola's hydrocephalus. She told us to close our eyes; we were good and didn't cheat! She put the ultrasound picture in the envelope with the correct sign I had made and sealed it up.
Jonathan then took the envelope to Cary, his dad. He was the only person who knew until the box was opened! Since it was close to Christmas, we used the colors red and green; I stole this idea from my good friend Britney.
